Dr Insha Zahoor, hailing from Saidpora village of Shopian district has set an example for youth of Kashmir.This MBBS graduate from (GMC) Government Medical College, Srinagar has lived upto her role as a future doctor by visiting South Kashmir’s Shopian village and making people aware about Covid 19 Pandamic.
She was accompanied by volunteers and reached Pushtoo check and Chotipora villages of Shopian, and distributed essential food items among needy persons.
She urged the local villagers to maintain social distance and stay at homes.
Proper medical checkup were done among citizens of all age groups in the village , medicines were prescribed and distributed to the persons who were found sick.
Talking to our News agency Dr Insha Zahoor said, “It is high time for all of us and especially young girls to come forward during this Pandemic period and help the society especially who are living in far flung areas of our valley.
She further added, that more young girls must come out and serve the people, within the best of their abilities while ensuring proper precautions themselves while doing so.
Local villagers hailed the efforts of young Insha Zahoor to reach out among people, launch awareness and help those people with essential food items who are in dire need during this Lockdown time, especially so because they depend on daily wages and are unable to earn their livelihood in the given circumstances.
