Mudasir Tantary thanked GOC with high appreciation for the efforts of Indian army they put in these testing times especially in such a harsh winters in upper regions of the District kupwara. The Indian Army always come in forefront for the help and rescue of the people in odd situations during winters. Mudasir tantray also thanked goc for organising many cultural and awareness programmes related to jobs and other entrepreneurial opportunities during the whole year.
In a long discussion meeting Tantary requested GOC to keep a vigil over the drug nexus which is taking pace in the whole district. The drug menace is taking youth into it which will be disaster to the society in future. He pressed onto this that army should intervene in this to stop this menace because it is the army only who could clear this drug addiction thing from the society. Tantray discussed many other important things with GOC which includes the Skill training in self employed trades for unemployed youth so that they can earn their livelihood on thier own and could not be dependent on others after completing the training they can start thier own units in particular trade or department and can work at their own level. Since army has a huge role in building the society such programmes can be implemented through army in a very systematic way.
At the end of the meeting the GOC assured for every possible support for the welfare and the upliftment of the people.
