Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar has filed a defamation suit of crores against a YouTuber who brought up his name while spreading fake news.
Akshay has served a Rs 500-crore defamation suit against a YouTuber named Rashid Siddiqui, who brought up his name in the Sushant Singh Rajput case.
YouTuber Rashid Siddiqui was earlier arrested by the police for spreading fake news and dragging the name of Maharashtra’s CM Uddhav Thackeray and his son Aaditya Thackeray in the case.
Rashid Siddiqui who runs channel FF news on Youtube has been accused of running hate campaigns by publishing fake stories regarding the death of Sushant Singh Rajput.
The daily reported that Siddiqui had earned over Rs 15 lakh in four months for his content on the Sushant Singh Rajput death case. The 25-year-old is a civil engineer from Bihar and owns a YouTube channel titled FF News.
Rashid Siddiqui’s monthly Youtube earings showed an instant hike from July. In the month of May and in September, he earned a whopping Rs 6,50,898 with his videos.The YouTuber had also claimed that Kumar was unhappy with Sushant bagging MS Dhoni: The Untold Story. He also alleged Akshay helped Rhea Chakraborty to escape Canada. According to the report, police have filed a case on charges of defamation, public mischief, and intentional insult. The court granted him anticipatory bail and asked him to cooperate with the police in the investigation.
