A lecture on ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan’ was organised by local Territorial Army (H&H) Battalion under the aegis of Headquarters Counter Insurgency Force (Romeo) at Youth Club Palma. The main aim of the lecture was to generate awareness and bring about a behavior change regarding sanitation practices, improving the management of solid and liquid waste and educating the local populace about benefits of cleanliness and sanitation,
The efforts of Army in spreading healthy living practices were appreciated by the people of entire Palma village, in the presence of important civil dignitaries of the area The Abhiyaan witnessed a large gathering of enthusiastic people who pledged for its success. The august gathering expressed their sincere gratitude to the Army for its relentless efforts towards preservation of peace and development of the area.
