On routine naka checking, Baramulla Police under the supervision of Syed Sajad Hussain-JKPS assisted by Inspr. Showkat Ahmad, SHO PS Baramulla and SI Showkat Ahmad, IC PP Delina arrested 02 drug peddlers namely Imran Zameer Khan S/O Zameer Ahmad Khan resident of Trikanjan Boniyar and Yasin Ahmad Ganie S/O Ab Rehman resident of Delina Ghat at Juhama Baramulla and recovered 10 grams of brown sugar like substance from his possession.
Case under NDPS Act registered in Police Station Baramulla and investigation set in motion.
General People of Baramulla Town hailed the efforts of Baramulla Police and showed their willingness to support police to eradicate menace of Drugs from the society which is the real sign of Police Public relationship.
People are requested to come forward with information regarding Drug Peddlers of their areas so that drug menace can be eradicated from the society.
