Indian National Congress Youth Leader, In-charge Habba Kadal Constituency and Corporator SMC Corporater Basharat Bin Qadir on Tuesday visited Bagiyaas Chattabal alongwith SMC City Team
Basharat interacted with the locals of the area and listened to their pleas which he assured will be raised with the competent authorities.
In a statement to the press, Basharat said that locals of this area have suffered for long due to unavailability of proper drainage system, Road Problems, etc which needed to be constructed but nothing was done by the previous governments for their welfare.
“After being briefed by various local delegations from this vicinity I myself followed the redressal of their genuine demand in the concerned offices and today the estimation for this Drain And Road Problems is being taken by the SMC City team,” he said.
Basharat expressed hope that people will be relieved from their existing miseries with the construction of this drain and further no more inconvenience will be faced by them during the harsh weather especially keeping in view the impending winter.
The locals and workers from Chattabal, thanked Basharat for his sincere public centric endeavours and vowed to support him in the upcoming Assembly Elections.
Basharat Bin Qadir said that he also thankful to respected SMC Commissioner, Respected Mayor Junaid Azim Mattu, DC Srinagar, For their Support to give the approval of the work which was pending our Chattabal area past 15 Years.
