BJP Covid-19 team Baramulla Led by Aamir war Visited Different hospitals in Sopore with his team.

Co-Convener Covid-19 Manzoor Ahmad Bhat, Adv Tajmul rizvi,Haroon Ahmad under the supervision of Convener Covid-19 Baramulla Aamir war today visited a number of hospitals and PHC’s of Sopore to assess the availability of medicines, vaccines, oxygen suppply , staff and other essential supplies which are must to fight the situation caused by Pandemic.He met BMO SDH Sopore Dr Zulfikar and Nodel Incharge Dr Shahid and heads of these health institutions and checked the availability of essential stock which are necessary in today’s situations . After the proper assessment he requested administration for keeping the enough stock of essential supplies available in health institutions which are must for protection of people from the pandemic.
Vaccine shortages and scarce staff can potentially make the situation worse’.
Aamir war And his team interacted with Doctors,Public and listened to their grievances in regards with the availability of vaccines and lifesaving drugs.
“It’s appalling, as the people yearn for getting inoculated as soon as possible, the availability of Covid vaccines at various NTPHCs and PHCs remains absolutely zero.
The people are totally confused as even the Cowin website shows no date slot open for the necessary jab registration. The people also complained about the miniscule staff strength at these centers which needs to be beefed up on a prompt basis in view of the covid case spikes,”
He said that the spread of this contagious infection has given rise to a desperate situation that can only be averted by mass vaccination drives.
Furthermore, he said that the Covid testing facility needs to be augmented in these health care centres so that the patients can get their Covid results at their nearest local health centers without facing much inconvenience.
“Testing facilities remain imperative in these centers. The people will be relieved from travelling to far off testing centers and it will also minimise the chances of spreading of this contagion.
