In a heart-touching display of the power of music and the human spirit, a CRPF trooper has won the hearts of internet users with his soulful rendition of popular Kashmiri songs. Constable Mrityunjai Kumar Rai, posted in the third battalion of the Central Reserve Police Force in Bandipora district, delighted social media users with his enchanting performance.
In a video shared by the Kashmir Ops Sector, CRPF, Rai can be seen singing three popular Kashmiri songs in a mountainous terrain while on duty. Despite being a resident of Bihar and not being perfectly fluent in the language, Rai’s singing is deeply moving and filled with emotion. He starts with the romantic song ‘Nigaaro’, followed by the heart-touching Islamic devotional song ‘Sahibo sath chum cheni’, and finishes with the recent sensation ‘Lolan’.
Amidst their challenging duties, our soldiers find moments of joy and inspiration, the CRPF said in its tweet. Rai’s performance has become a highlight of CRPF’s functions in the region, and he has gained recognition among the troopers for his melodious voice, officials said.
