Police sources said that some people assembled and tried to offer Friday Congregational prayers at a mosque in Watrina Bandipora. People completely violated the advisory issued to contain Covid-19 infections in Valley.
Taking strong note of the incident, police booked 11 persons including an Imam and registered a formal FIR vide number 31/2020 under section 188 against the violators.

Some paid and corrupt media houses within Kashmir have inflated the number of arrested persons to 300, just to incite rage. However when confronted by the officials, they promptly apologized for circulating fake news.
