District administration today finalised the modalities for conduct of the door to door Vaccination drive for saturation of left out age appropriate persons under the COVID protection Vaccination besides to achieve hundred percent coverage under the the sehat-scheme in the district here in a meeting chaired by Deputy commissioner Kishtwar Ashok Sharma.
ADDC Kishtwar Sham Lal, ADC Kishtwar Kishori Lal Sharma, ACR Kishtwar Akhter Hussain Qazi, ACD Kishtwar Kishore Singh Katoch, SDM paddar Varunjeet Singh Charak, CMO Kishtwar Dr R S Manhas, District Immunization Officer Dr. Chander Prakash besides Tehsildars, DBOs, BMOs and the Community Service Centre officials and others remained present in the meeting.
At the outset, District Immunization Officer Kishtwar apprised the chair about the progress made in the COVID protection Vaccination in the district and informed that out of the total 1,74,970 age appropriate persons, 1,11,242 number of persons have been innoculated for the first dose whereas 63,728 number of persons have been left out.
During the meeting, DC Kishtwar also reviewed the status of the registration under PMJAY-SEHAT scheme.
In the meeting threadbare discussion regarding the modalities to cover the leftout age appropriate persons under both the schemes were held and a slew of directions were passed to the concerned officers.
During the meeting it was decided that Block/Panchayat wise mopping exercise , intensifying of Information Education and Communication (IEC) activities, registration for sehat-scheme, Vaccination of left out persons will be conducted in a mass mode basis to sweep for the 100% coverages.
DC Kishtwar informed the house that ADDC Kishtwar who is Nodal officers for the Vaccination drive in district will monitor the constitution of the panchayat level teams headed by executive magistrate and comprising the health officials,ASHA workers, AWW besides BLOs and teachers for the successful conduct of the vaccination in the district.
All the Tehsildars were asked to furnish panchayat specific list of the teams with their members by tomorrow which shall be deputed to conduct the vaccination in each panchayat on mass mode basis so that the 100 percent vaccination shall be completed by 25th of September in a scheduled manner.
Besides CSC Officials were asked to depute the VLEs along with these teams to conduct side by side registration of leftout persons for golden cards in order to ensure that beneficiaries may avail the benefit of the health insurance scheme.
The Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar stressed the concerned officers to adopt target driven approach to cover the leftout persons besides exhorted the officers to rope in the PRIs at grass root level in the process to aware and motivate the masses for the vaccination and to register under sehat scheme.
CMO Kishtwar was asked to conduct special vaccination camp in the premises of the Colleges and schools to ensure the 100% vaccination of the students and staff members of these colleges and schools above 18 years who are going for in-person class work after due permissions.
ADC Kishtwar who has been appointed as the Nodal officer for the implementation and enforcement of COVID Appropiate Behaviour across the district was asked to ensure the monitoring of the implementation of the CAB in the public places and in these educational institutions permitted to conduct the in-person classes besides was asked to strengthen the check Nakkas at entry points of the District to ensure safety of people.
