Today the Block Development Officer, Miss Kamila Mushtaq visited the premises of Govt High School Singhpora and took notice of the drainage system requirement for the School and the adjacent area.
The drainage system was a long pending demand of the school students, staff and the local residents as it has been a major constraint for smooth school work since ages.
The concern was raised by SDM Pattan, Tehsildar Singhpora and the locals at BDO office Singhpora and soon after this , BDO Singhpora visited the spot herself and assured for the immediate redressal.
She further said that the office has sufficient funds available under Area Development Fund scheme to take the said work and after discussing it with the DDC member around 5 lac rupees would be allotted for this work.
People thanked BDO Singhpora for her timely initiative and further requested her to take up the procedure of completing the work on immediate basis as the schools have been reopened almost after 3 years and the water lodging must not become any further constraint in smooth functioning of the school activities .
