The Indian Army, with participation of local NGOs and the community, proudly organized a Flag Hoisting ceremony at the revered Char Chinar, a symbol of heritage and unity to commemorate the 77th Independence Day.
The event witnessed an overwhelming turnout as residents from across Srinagar gathered to pay homage to the nation.
With over 120 enthusiastic locals and children in attendance, the event fostered a sense of unity and patriotism. Kendriya Vidyalaya’s students and staff also actively engaged, further amplifying the significance of the occasion.
The heartwarming proceedings commenced with the unfurling of the national flag, followed by the poignant “Panch Pran Ki Shapath” oath, an integral part of the “Meri Maati, Mera Desh” Campaign.
