Bhaderwah: According to Doda Police in the month of January 2022 PS Bhaderwah has registered a case under FIR No 8/2022 U/S 8/21 NDPS Act in which two grams of Heroin was recovered from the possession of one accused namely Umaiz Manzoor S/O Manzoor Ahmed R/O Qilla Mohalla Bhaderwah.
During further investigation while working on backward link to reach upto the root level accused Umaiz Manzoor was interrogated to ascertain forward/backward links, during investigation one more name was surfaced who too was arrested today by a team of Police Station Bhaderwah and recovered Heroin (chitta) from his possession the accused is identified as Adil Faried S/O Fareed Ahmed R/O Dunya, Bhaderwah.
Accused Adil Faried is a notorious drug supplier of Heroin (Chitta) in Bhaderwah Town and he was on run for the last two months after the commission of crime.

Insp Jatinder Singh Rakwal said that eradicating drugs menace in Bhaderwah area is our priority and for which Bhaderwah police working hard day and night. It is pertinent to mention that in current year police station Bhaderwah has registered six NDPS Act FIR’s in last two months.
