Poonch: The youth including women staying close to Line of Control in Tain, Mendhar, Balnoi, Sagra, Gulpur, Jhallas and Salotri villages of Poonch District have yearned the benefits of peace & tranquility. The people of this region did not support terror groups and their nefarious designs which in turn has led to transformation of thought process of youth. They have always wanted to work towards National Unity and development.

​-Indian Army in Krishna Ghati sector in association with Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE), has come up with a comprehensive plan, which includes youth-oriented skill development projects such as course at Food and Crafts Institute, Nagrota, Tailoring-Knitting-Embroidery course for girls and ladies, Data Entry and Computer Operator course, Welding-Electrician-Carpenter and Driving course. These projects will be run in four cluster i.e at Nagrota, Jhallas, Balnoi and Mendhar.

-A total of 120 young boys and girls of Poonch district are taking the benefit from the campaign. Upon completion of the courses, certificates will be provided by MSDE, which will make them eligible to persue their learning and dream anywhere across India and become the part of main stream and help in nation development.
