Srinagar: A young fashion icon from South Kashmir’s Pulwama district Shahid Rashid Bhat has collaborated with international brands Puma and Superdry for holding fashion shown in Srinagar.
Shahid, who is running his own brand SRB style, held the 4th series of the show at City Mall here also had ‘Special Hands of Kashmir’, a specially-abled group which works with handicraft of Kashmir, to showcase their collection.
The initiatve was taken together by Kamran Bashir, Abhi Hussian and Shahid Rashid Bhat for series 4.
Ethinic Designer like Haya Ghar, Royal Tailors, Dreamz Collection Barbarshah, Pakeeza, Srb Style by Shahid also showcased the collection as well.
“Kashmir Fashion Show is an initiative to bring our artisans, fashion entrepreneurs, handloom and handicraft sector together,” Shahid said, whose endeavour is fusion of vernacular art with modern twist to create space for these products in global market.
Shahid, who has studied Masters in Craft Management and Entrepreneurship, said it is his duty to promote Kashmir’s craft and culture through Fashion shows.
The show was witnessed by hundreds of people who felt ecstatic about the amalgamation of craft with modern twist.
