Mandi : Khidmath-e-Khalaq Society Distributed Cash and other food items among the widows,orphans and other poor people under the the program of “CARE AND AWARE” which was launched in 2019 by the Society itself during the Covid-19 which aims to aware the people about this terrible pandemic and help the orphans,widows and other helpless families which climb out of poverty.
Chairman Khidmat-e-Khalaq society Shiraz Mir said, These type of initiatives have been taking for the last ten years by the Khidmath- e-Khalaq Society. Currently,We have been reeling under the impact of the pandemic and it is important to send out a message to people, to make them aware of basic hygiene, precautions and preventive steps to be taken.”
He said that Cash transfer is not merely a way to help poor families climb out of poverty; rather, they are a tool for fostering longer-term social mobility, the best way to help the largest number of people is to put money in their pockets. In most cases, cash allows people to purchase what they want: whether it is food grain, oil, medicine. Cash in hand also gives vulnerable people a little more confidence to deal with the many uncertainties of life during a crisis.
