Mendhar Gunners under the aegis of Ace of Spades Gunners organised a training programme which saw active participation of around 75 aspirants which mainly comprised of NCC cadets from Mendhar Degree College and Mendhar High School (both boys and girls) with the primary aim of not only informing them about the Service Selection Board (SSB) but to also prepare them for the physiological tests and ground tasks that they will have to go through while appearing for the five day long interview.
A dedicated team of officer instructors of the Mendhar Gunners carried out a detailed class for the prospective SSB aspirants . The aspirants were informed about the various entries that they can opt for , the conduct during SSB and the integral qualities required to clear the SSB.
Apart from the lecture the participants were given hands on experience on the physiological tests and ground tasks that they will be encountering at SSB centres. The aspirants were ably guided by the team of officers on how to go about the above mentioned tests.
To conclude the programme,the interview experiences of various officers and individuals who had attended the SSB were shared with the aspirants followed by a Q&A session.
The program helped the participants in assessing their present state of preparedness and things they need to work on. All the participants from far flung areas along the Line of Control thanked Mendhar Gunners wholeheartedly for organizing this programme to guide them towards realising their dreams.
