Kupwara : Qaziabad Development Initiative (QDI) Chairman, Mohd Munawar Khawaja today convened a public interactive meeting at Rangpath area of Langate Constituency, wherein people from different areas and othe adjacent villages participated.
The interactive session started with the discussion on development and political scenario of the constituency. While briefing to public about present circumstances of Langate Constituency The chairman said that, the political parties are trying to divide the people of Langate constituency, and they try to divide us on the basis of cost, culture and by other means and giving names to areas like lower Qaziabad and uper Qaziabad which is not acceptable by the people. He also added that, in this digital era people are aware about each and every step taken by those who are trying to adopt the hitlers policy that is divide and rule politics.
Khawaja said that Rangpath and other adjacent areas has been always neglected in part of developmental sector. Politicians who are were given mandate by the people of this constituency in previous elections have always played with their sentiments and have always given preference to their personal benefits. They diverted the attention of people from development to destruction by giving disputed statements. Addressing to the people of Rangpath, Khawaja said that I have grown up in the streets of this village and the conditions of roads, water supply schemes, electricity, health sector and education sector is same as we have seen in our childhood nothing has been changed and whosoever came in to the power has neglected this part of the Langate Constituency.
Khawaja also highlighted the potential of tourism in the constituency, he said, in 80,s steps were initiated for bringing Bungus Valley on tourism map and rest house was constructed at Rishwari nowgam but, it is very unfortunate that routes were changed to other areas and Mawer road having short distance to Bungus and beautiful view in the surroundings was neglected by politicians for their personal benefits.
Later, the locals of Rangpath with chairman visited to under construction receiving station safalpora, on which the work has been started in the year 2006 and is still incomplete. The people of the area apprised the chairman about the poor condition of electricity and delay in the work of receiving station. Khawaja appealed the people of the area especially the youth to get united and make the developmental agencies accountable by highlighting their demands and issues which is their fundamental duty and right as well.
