Poonch Poonch Bde organised a Multispecialty Medical & Screening Camp at Govt High School, Degwar- Terwan on 02 Nov 2022 for Villages beyond Fence as part of Poonch Link Up Day Events .
A total of 79 women, 117 men and 89 children attended & were benefitted from the medical camp from the villages of Degwar Terwan, Bagiyal Dhara and Dhalan. Free medicines were distributed during the Medical Camp.
Medical Camp was organised by Indian Army in Collaboration with Civil Administration/ Distt Hospital in an attempt to reach the population beyond Fence.
Awareness about National Tuberculosis Elimination Programme (NTEP) & screening of suspected Indls was also carried out in an attempt to reduce TB Burden in India.
The AWAM appreciated Indian Army for taking an initiative for improving the health of people and raising awareness of common diseases.
