After a commendable success in Education reformation of Kashmir from past few years Nizamia Education Group collaborated with Srinagar Municipal Corporation for an awareness campaign on Polythene Ban. Kashmir is the epitome of natural beauty and is often regarded as the ‘Paradise on Earth’, but this paradise is no exception when it comes to the threat of environmental pollution. Being the natives of this beautiful creation of Almighty, we owe our bit to safeguard it from those threats and use of polythene is one of the major threats to Environment anywhere. So we decided to join hands with SMC to evade this threat and we at Nizamia are not only commited to reforming Education but we will always be there for any social cause; said Mr. Maqsood Ahmed the Founder and CEO of the company.
This event the “Run for Polythene Free Srinagar” was conducted today morning from Ghanta Ghar to Nishat Bagh and was flagged off by the Hon’ble LG of Jammu and Kashmir Mr. Manoj Sinha. Almost 500 students including the volunteers & officials from Nizamia Education Group participated in the run to leave a statement that ‘We Care for Nature’.
Mr Maqsood Ahmed while thanking SMC for the initiative quoted the famous Proverb of Sheikh ul Alam that “An poshe tele yele wan poshe” and said that there is a strong message in this proverb that everything else will survive if the nature survive and small initiatives like this will surely act as the remainder to mankind that we need to take care of Nature so that it takes care of us.
