On focus behind the concrete walls these men stand to foil any intrusion or an attempt to infiltrate into the Indian side!
Every job is a self-portrait of the person …We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit. This is what the Indian army does while guarding the LOC!
-‘It is not the strongest nor the most intelligent of species that survives, but the one that is most adaptable to change. In short plans are nothing, planning is everything and on the Line of Control everything has been planned as the designs of the enemy are still swiveling and oscillating like a pendulum because if sources are to be believed there are always 100-130 terrorists present on the launch pads and obviously their aim is one and this to make an attempt to infiltrate!’
-‘On 22 December 2021 there was a piece of news that emerged that a group of 54 terrorists have been seen in the area of PoK adjacent to Keran, 22 in Machal and 21 in the area of PoK adjacent to Tangdhar, who are constantly trying to infiltrate. A large group of 37 terrorists has been seen in the Pakistani area adjacent to the border of Poonch, who are trying to enter Jammu.’ This also meant that Pakistan had still not given up on its designs to keep the disturbance alive in Kashmir and the situation is perhaps no different at the moment across because as per fress intelligence reports the terrorists are still sitting on their launch pads to make the attempts to infiltrate!’
-‘ the news report further said that due to constant vigil, sharp instincts and top degree alertness of Indian Army and BSF on LoC and International Border, it has not been so easy for terrorists to infiltrate now. Despite this, with the help of guides and OGWs from across the border, nefarious efforts are continuing to get terrorists into the Indian territory.’
-‘According to intelligence agencies, the presence of large groups of Lashkar and Jaish terrorists has been seen in the areas of PoK near Machhal, Tangdhar and Keran and Poonch sectors. OGWs help terrorists to infiltrate into Jammu and Kashmir through a new routes.’
-‘An overground worker after interrogation revealed five routes of infiltration, PoK to Kalakot, PoK to Braal Gali, Nickel to Manjot, PoK to Kas Nala and PoK to Gursain.’
-‘Further disturbing sequence is that arrangements were made for the stay of more than 8,000 LeT and JeM terrorists from Pakistan to help the Taliban in the terrorist camps of PoK. These terrorists would not be sitting idle and obviously it means that their destination has to be Kashmir through PoK.’
-‘Nadeem Anjum, the ISI top man would not have, would not have forgotten the tradition set during the last 75 years beginning from the last century when Syed Shahid Hamid, 1948-1950 took over the command of a wing which does have a history behind it’. Incidentally it is a queer one!
-‘The Inter-Services Intelligence was created in 1948 following the first Kashmir war, which had exposed weaknesses in intelligence gathering, sharing, and coordination between the army, air force, navy, Intelligence Bureau (IB) and Military Intelligence (MI).’
‘The ISI was structured to be operated by officers from the three main military services and to specialize in the collection, analysis, and assessment of external military and non-military intelligence.’
-‘The ISI was the brainchild of the former British Indian Army Major General Robert Cawthome, then Deputy Chief of Staff of the Pakistan Army and selected Colonel Shahid Hamid to set up the agency. Initially, the ISI had no role in the collection of internal intelligence, except for the North-West Frontier Province (NWFP) and Pakistan Administered Kashmir’. The British had an interest in Afghanistan but after partition the country they created would become a volcano they never did foresee! It ultimately did’
-‘This I’m not saying but history does. History teaches us that people who make brave choices are heroes. We study history to know the stories of those who stood face-to-face with real villains and won. We study history so that when it’s time for us to make the hard choice, we’ll know that we can do it, too.’ But we cannot as our living time runs short!’ I’m sure somewhere or the other or some place or the other Nadeem Anjum the ISI top man would be reading this!’
-‘Finally the introductory part I will sum it up with yet another famous lines from one and only one Charles Orde Wingate and I’m sure Nadeem Anjum, a General would be knowing as to who said it so here they are’ ‘Nowadays people seem to imagine that impartiality means readiness to treat lies and truth the same, to hold white as bad as black and black as good as white. I, on the contrary, believe that without integrity a man had much better not approach a problem at all.’ ― Orde Charles Wingate. My only suggestion to Qamar Javed Bajwa is give it up because the game is up and let cricket go as hockey though good is now a European sport and not Asian, cricket is!’ For a great living neighborhood this is a small little suggestion from just a couple of frugal, average or below average journalists!
‘The OGW being interrogated was not wrong because ‘at the same time, according to the revelations from the intelligence, a nefarious conspiracy is being hatched to send terrorists and explosives through gliders on the launch pads near LoC and IB. Along with this, ISI is also providing single rider gliders to the terrorists. Explosives and weapons can be sent up to 20 Kg through these gliders. From the launching pad, these gliders can be sent from 600 meters to 1200 meters inside. The gliders that ISI is providing to the terrorists can fly up to a height of 50 to 100 meters.’ But these incidents were also thwarted but they can surface still’ Plan-B of Pakistan was also a failure.’ So what is next up!
We still believe that there is no code that can’t be cracked. It can be if we have the dedication to do that. This is a set tradition in the Indian Army because they can do that which others would be considered impossible for many. I have reasons to say so and here they are:
-The mean business and they cannot be caught off guard.
-They know what they have to do, day and night matter to them less.
-Only three things happen naturally in organizations: friction, confusion, and underperformance. Everything else requires leadership. In the Indian Army none exists and thus we are probably the best in the world!
Sector Uri did change the things around. The cinema depicted it on screen but since we are not from the commercial world, I will put it in a sentence that, no one can change a person, but someone can be a person’s reason to change. And one who can is a SOLDIER’!.
