They give their all to protect our freedom, and this story should serve as an epic reminder of it!
‘It is foolish and wrong to mourn the men who died. Rather, we should thank God that such men lived…… General George S. Patton’
. -The brave men and women of the military should always be honored for their sacrifice, For those who risk their lives to protect our freedom, it is a selfless act of valor that is done without asking anything in return.’
-‘Our military deserves to be honored and appreciated. The freedom and liberty we enjoy is much because of the brave men and women of the military who dedicate their lives to protecting the nation. Many of them have had to sacrifice their lives just so the rest of us can live in a free and prosperous society.’
-‘It takes a great amount of courage and sacrifice to do what our soldiers do. Many of these great men and women have families of their own who they have to leave behind as they go to defend their country’.
-‘The least we can do for our military men and women is to honor and be thankful for their unselfish deeds.’
-‘These stand for everything to make sure that their countrymen are safe and secure and while doing so they fall for anything which they see as a danger to the country
-‘Indeed they are heroes of the country but they also know that heroism doesn’t always happen in a burst of glory. Sometimes small triumphs and large hearts change the course of history. Indeed in UT Jammu and Kashmir they have turned things around splendidly and have played an important role in changing the mindset of the people who definitely were psyched out and had been under the Kalashnikov pump for the last three decades!’
-‘Who dares, wins. Who sweats, wins. Who plans, wins!’
I have a friend who was a professor in Jammu University and he is hell of a talkative man, loves discussing and is a die hand fan of the Indian Army. In fact his one son is in the Indian Army and the second
too wants to get into the olive greens. One day he called on us for a family get together. The ladies and the children went to their respective rooms and we both sat fo ran elaborate discussion on Indian Armed forces over a few drinks and snacks and this was his opener one liner, ‘I don’t know what effect these men have upon the enemy, but, By God, they make me simply proud as they move about with the bulging chests trying to scream out of their shirts and the biceps trying to rip apart the folded sleeves around their massive upper arms. Another great sightI love seeing again and again is the one when the armada of vehicles moves one behind the other to their respective destinations. These guys have the guts and therefore they are glorious’!
One can keep writing on the soldiers. The picture with the story says it all and speaks by itself but I will emphasize that when the march or move about in convoy’s if you are bystander in the road and watch just stand a salute, trust me you will get one back with a massive beaming smile with love written all over it!
