02 October holds a lot of significance for India and from now onwards it would also stand out in the history of Balnoi as a remarkable day!
-‘The first thing she (Anupama Das) said was that a mouth which does not confess or disproves the existence of a heart that believes should not be heard. She was spot on!’
‘The day would not have been possible without the efforts of the Indian Army, Health care Top Guns Sub Division Mendhar, the civil administration as directed by Deputy Commissioner Poonch and of course the great organization led by Dr, Kannan Gireesh, M.B.B.S., & M.D.(Psychiatry), a renowned Consultant Psychiatrist, Psychotherapist, and founder & CEO, Live Life Education Pvt Ltd along with his team conducted the lecture cum counseling session. It was informative but that would be an understatement, it meant a lot for those who attended it because the advice was fine on addiction and a love affair with drugs but the doctor’s rules implemented are always helpful, on drugs they are definitely! and it was loved by the parents who have seen their children perish with the extreme limits of drug intake! I do not have to stress upon this more’! I will speak about this later in the story!’
‘Missionary zeal to do something that does not grow out of intellectual beliefs, nor out of philosophical arguments, but out of love. That is what Ganesh’s organization Live Life Education was trying to tell but one vibrant girl Anupma Das was over excited because I could make out that she wanted to be expressive in telling about the organization she was working for. I could make out that she was from Benga (was she or not I did not ask, because she could be from elsewhere too) and the little Miss wanted to be more at home as she mixed around with the people but one thing was very visible and that was the exquisite smile that spread the fragrance all around in these lovely green environment, at times blue and at times yellow (as Sun keeps changing its seat in the heavens for bathing everyone in its glory)!’ People talk of sunset, ‘I have an idea because I watched it in Mendhar’ was perhaps what Anupma wanted to say in that short period of time when she was bouncing about at Balnoi Base that day’!
-‘This then is what I mean by spontaneous expansion. I mean the expansion which follows the unexhausted and unorganized activity of individual members of an organization working for humanity. Anupma surely took up the last baton in that wonderful relay where people had gathered in numbers to show that the Indian flag flutters the most when the people of LOC smile and make crazy noises that were never ever heard, especially those of children’! I’m sure that she would have taken the fond memories back home to tell the same to the people that, ‘This is what India is truly and of course the men all in greens always smiling and always with us’! I saw them mixing around with their closest families (not with bondages of blood but of humanity where the color of the red liquid is almost the same but may be a bit different as far Lab interpretations go!’
‘She spoke from her heart because she too was eager (I mean Anupma) to be able to refrain from speaking. Her subject seemed to have gripped her. She spoke of what she saw and knew perhaps many things of Jammu and Kashmir but about Mendhar, I doubt (I’m saying that cheekily). But nevertheless a kid who can do wonders because she did carry one message, ‘learn, live, educate yourself and smile’!
-‘The truth which Kanan’s organization wants to impart is his own truth. And so was of Anupma. The organization knows its force and the people are force multipliers. They were both speaking almost as if to relieve their own minds as to convert their hearers to be positive in life. They probably also knew that drugs were going to be disastrous for this part of the planet and they did exactly that and no exaggeration here!’
‘We can no longer afford to ignore the work of others and to plan our missions as though other missions did not exist. Spontaneous expansion must be free: it cannot be under our control; and consequently it is utterly vain to say, as I constantly hear men say, that we desire to see spontaneous expansion, and yet must maintain our control. If we want to see spontaneous expansion we must establish the theorems of love in places such as Balnoi. Fear may dampen the spirits but love conquers everything. I have seen that but the only problem is that soldiers cannot be expressive! They just perhaps like speaking throwaway phrases, distributing love in humanity and then retire to let that be memoirs that they did their part of job nicely and wholesomely memorably.’But men who have lived regimental lives are different! The message was well conveyed by Krishna Ghati Brigade and Live Life Education!
I About the organization and the leaders of Kannaan Ganesh’s organization!
Honestly speaking no one in Mendhar knew about this but people’s friendly organization knew what they were intending to and then the people had a firm belief that they would do it for the us!

II. What the ever smiling lady was a bit different, and this is what she did:
About Gireesh I Was not wrong but about the lady I did not know much but still what I could gather from the words were enough to tell as to what she was. I could recognize her but television is a bit of a different proposition on LOC. I thought she knew everything about the people here. Flamboyance seemed eternal to her and spontaneity simply absorbing. Whether I am correct right or wrong I do not know but that she won everyone’s heart:
The first thing she said was that a mouth which does not confess or disproves the existence of a heart that believes should not be heard. She was spot on!
She very expressively said,’ wonderful place, refreshing environment, spectacular and extravagant landscape, great beauty amongst the humans, lovely children who smile so beautifully and mind blowing enthusiasm and that too after seeing so much horror! Unbelievable! But she meant it!
The next thing was more ebullient and something more astonishing. She said that after she was mingling around with the crowd and like a typically wobbly kid on the move in a Saree (perhaps purple), ‘these people are great, lovers of small things, so lyrical from their moving tongues and the smiles undoubtedly magical and hypnotic’!
‘The lady kept talking in a lyrical manner and a bad habit with the writers is that they have known the poetic flavor. Anupma surely sounded like that and won the hearts with her majestic but still sister and mother-like demeanor!’
‘The people who saw Gireesh and Anupma may not see them again but they could also if they decide to get on a visit once again! But one thing is sure, that heavenly day cannot be recreated but the life of these people can be done. The Indian Army is doing that but a little more assistance from young men like Gireesh and ladies like Anupma can do it!’ I’m sure that the story would not end here!
In the conclusion part of the story I will still say that if humanity has to be indigenous it must spring up in the soil from the very first seeds planted. Gireesh and Anupma did that otherwise like any other lesser mortals these people here will say, they came, they saw and they left us with nothing but fistfuls of hope! But that would not happen as Krishnaghati Brigade is always there for them! Incidentally Love is spreading!
