Mohammad Aatif khan A 19 years old haling from Sheikhpora Budgam. He passed his 10th from Spring Buds Educational Institute Ompora Budgam. He is currently pursuing Civil Engineering from KITE College Besides academics, He is a SQAY martial art player and Social worker. He brought laurels to district Budgam by winning Gold Medal at the International level in SQAY MARTIAL ART, Atif’s achievement at the national level got him a ticket to the International championship. His aims are totally different from other teenagers of his age, distant from studies, He is working for the social causes. Aatif is all set, along with his team to serve those who need help or any kind of assistance. He says “I love being a social worker because it’s an honour to help people in order to achieve their goals and success”. The Athlete is also a General Secretary of KASHMIR YOUTH WEB. He further added that we should do something that would contribute and benefit the community at large. Aatif along with his Kashmir youth web team is working on fields, keeping the anti-drug campaign as the priority. The motive of kashmir youth web is to eliminate the social evil from valley and to equip parents and adult caregivers with the tools they need to raise drug-free kids. He and his team has also launched many Drug Awareness Campaigns across valley. These campaigns would truely help the society to eradicate the drug menace from Kashmir. Besides this, Kashmir youth web also distributed food kits to needy during this pandemic. Apart from this Mohammad Aatif khan is also working for promoting sports in valley. He is President of SHEIKH-UL-ALAM SPORTS DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATION Budgam . The main aim of this Association is to nourish the hidden talent of youth that would help youth to live a healthy life. Aatif says “sports can be a key driver of social change”. The association will provide people who are socially distressed and deprived, opportunities for acceptance,sports likewise,promote good health and would motivate youth to work as team and also will enhance positive experience.
