Mandi : Mansha Bashir who is an international Taekwondo Gold Medalist player from UT of jammu and kashmir and first woman of J&K to complete NS NIS through the Sports Authority of India and is one of the youngest coaches in Taekwondo.Taekwondo is a recognized Olympic Sport.
She said, Taekwondo has made me understand the meaning of perseverance, courtesy, self-control, integrity and indomitable spirit. Taekwondo has also taught me all those traits that are needed for a better life.She has played many national and international matches.
She has trained 2000 girls in Kashmir valley in the name of Taekwondo and self defence.Presently she is running Taekwondo classes in which 150 students trained under her guidance at Polo view indoor sports hall polo ground Srinagar.
Mansha said, Taekwondo strengthens your body and improves your health through physical exercise and conditioning.The discipline of Taekwondo leads to increase energy, better health and fitness, greater coordination, and higher self-esteem. These qualities are vital to a happier, longer life.
