Living up to its motto of ‘Humsaya hain hum’ Zorawar Garrison under the aegis of Charkut Garrison organised a Sarpanches and ward members meeting with the Commanding Officer, Zorawar Garrison to ensure a deep and close connect with the Awam of the Lolab Valley.
The interaction was organised with an aim to establish a strong Awam-Fauj relationship and to provide them possible necessary assistance from army side for their smooth functioning of respective panchayats in the AoR. A total of 30 Sarpanches and 120 ward members attended the scheduled meeting, wherein they were told about the recent steps taken by government as well as army to ensure normalcy in the area. They were also briefed to encourage the youth towards positive engagement so that they remain in mainstream and progress in life.
In the end over a cup of tea the Sarpanches and ward members conveyed that they are extremely satisfied and extended their gratitude to Indian army for all its support.
