Today on 23 August, 2022, a police party of Police Station Vilgam while on naka checking at Dahama crossing, apprehended two persons who had attempted to evade the police party in a suspicious manner. On search, around 800 grams of charas like substance was recovered from their possession.
The persons have been identified as 1.Mohd Gulzar Mir, S/o Gh Mohi Ud Din Mir, R/o Amargad
2. Basit Ahmad Rather, S/o Abdul Gaffer Rather, R/o Amargad Sherkote A/P Aloosa Kupwara.
In relation to this, FIR No. 95/2022 U/s 8/20, 29 NDPS Act has been registered at PS Vilgam and investigation has been initiated.
