The Coronavirus Pandemic has changed the lives but there is always a ray of Hope.
In this tough time , the Social Welfare deparrment J&K is leaving no stone unturned to keep situation calm.
Principal Secretary Shailendra Kumar while speaking to Cross Town News said that Social Welfare department J&K is providing Pension to 6 lakh Old Age Persons/Widows /Persons with Diabilities, whereas another Tranche of Rs 1000 will be provided to them by 15th April.
Shailendra further informed that 6.5 Lakh Children in the age group of 0-6 years, Lactating and pregnant women and out of School Adoloscent Girls have been provided one month Supplementary Nutrition during this period.
Though sponsoring Scheme of ICPS, 58 Children in each district of Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory are being provided Rs 2000 each on monthly basis.
