Pattan : Farooq Ahmad Lone S/O Mohd Ramzan Lone R/o Zangam Pattan aged 55 years was hit by an unknown car near Zangam on National Highway and injured him seriously but the car fleed from the spot.
Soon after this he was rushed to Trauma Hospital Pattan where from he was referred to SKIMS Srinagar but the man died soon after being admitted to the hospital.
An FIR under FiR no 56 U/S 279,337 IPC has been lodged in Police Sation Pattan and investigation is taken up.
