Former Minister and Jammu Kashmir Apni Party Vice President Usman Majid on Tuesday expressed concern over the NIA raids on the residence of Rector Darul Uloom Rahimiyah Bandipora Maulana Rehmatullah Qasmi in Bandipora.
Majid termed the raid on the house of rector of Darul Uloom Rahimiyah unfortunate, “After all, he is the religious head on an institution and the most famous preacher of Jammu and Kashmir and has respect among the people. He said that Maulan Rehmatullah works to propagate the religion of Islam, and make positive efforts for the supremacy of truth & righteousness and the reformation of society” he added
Majid said such type of raids on religious scholar and the famous preacher of Kashmir is unfortunate. He said that not only are these actions by the authorities unjustified but have deeply hurt the sentiments of the people as well, he added
