Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party Vice President Usman Majid on Thursday visited Sonawari Constituency and addressed the workers meeting at Manz Mohalla, Dudwan, Malpora SK Bala and asks People to support Apni Party candidate Naza Begum in DDC election.
On the occasion Majid said we were used to reposing faith and blind trust in the political parties whose leaders would surface among people only during the election times. But the times have changed and those political parties should understand that they can no more hoodwink the people through their hollow and deceptive slogans,” Majid remarked.
He appealed to the people not to get swayed by the political gimmicks of the parties who have always tried to exploit the political sentiments of the people.
“Our Party’s agenda is absolutely realistic. The Apni Party is committed not to indulge in the politics of pretense or deceit. People should give a chance to the Apni Party candidate and then decide accordingly,” he added. Majid said that Jammu and Kashmir is in dire need of an elected government but simultaneously, the people Hajin should not leave this chance of strengthening the grassroots level democracy.
This election is meant for the holistic development at the ground level wherein the people will get directly involved in policy planning and executing the work projects,” Majid observed.
The campaign meeting was also addressed by other senior leader Imtiyaz Parry who appealed to the people to vote for Party’s contesting candidate Naza in DDC elections.
The others who were present on the occasion were senior party leader Noor Mohammad Bhat, DDC Bandipora Firdosa , District Youth President Wasif Majeed Mir,BDC Hajin Nazir Ahmad , BDC Naidkhai Gh Nabi , Vice President Municipal Committee Hajin Waseem Ah Parry & the Apni Party contesting candidate for DDC election Naaza Begum from Hajin-A constituency.
On this occasion, many political workers from different political parties joined Apni Party. Welcoming them into the party, Majid said that there is alienation among the people due to disconnect of the officers and hopelessness from the political parties who have ruled J&K but did nothing for the people.
