Scores of political workers from various political parties including Mohd Afzal Mir , Mudasir Ah Malla, Javaid Ahmad Tantray, Mohd Ashraf Mir, Bashir Ahmad Wani , Gh Mohd Wani hailing from the Arin Block on Friday joined Apni Party under the leadership of Party Vice President Usman Majid at a meeting held at Arin area of Bandipora.
Welcoming the new entrants into party-fold, JKAP zonal President Ghulam Hassan Lone said that Apni Party came into being when there existed a political vacuum in J&K and the people felt disempowered.
“Apni Party leadership has always put forth its unswerving efforts for safeguarding the rights and dignity of the people of J&K without fail. It is the resolve of our party through which the land and job rights in J&K were secured and we are rigorously pursuing the restoration of statehood at the earliest. Apni Party is a people-centric party that focuses on ushering in an era of peace, prosperity, and development in J&K,” he said.
